UPRISE @ UC (REU 2019)

REU Program

The UC UPRISE REU program provides 12-week summer research opportunities for undergraduate students in the science and engineering fields. Students admitted to the program work closely with a faculty mentor on a specific research project where they will be actively engaged in the collection and analyses of data. At the end of the program students will present their results to the university community in a formal oral presentation and submit a technical paper. UPRISE students also attend weekly professionalization workshops on topics related to graduate/medical school, pursuing careers in STEM fields, and how to present research results in various formats. UPRISE students are also eligible for funding support to present the results of their research at academic conferences.

REU 2019 Dates: May 06, 2019 - July 25, 2019

The UPRISE deadline is March 1, 2019, for completing the UPRISE applications in their entirety.

Thank you very much.
